Pacquiao to retire next year?

Eight Division Champion - Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao
Eight division champion Manny Pacquiao said on a report by ABS-CBN Sports that his upcoming fight against the undefeated junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas may be his last fight.  Which means that the much awaited bout of the two pound-for-pound king's, Floyd Mayweather Jr. may never happen.

Pacquiao plans to focus more on politics by next year.  Manny also explained that it may look bad for his image to continue his boxing career specially that he has accepted the Church's offer of being a Bible Ambassador.

Pacquiao plans to have a cleaner image to the people, and plans to bear his responsibilities well.  On his interview last month with ABS-CBN's sports anchor Dyan Castillejo, Pacquiao said that he has renewed his faith and has turned his back on vices; womanizing, gambling and drinking.
